Dr. Michelle Lane began her career at our clinic in August 2001.
Dr. Lane grew up in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. and Belleville, Ontario. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. She had extensive clinical rotations during her training at a large referral centre in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Lane has a special interest in treating dry eye, taking extra training, and chairing round-table discussions with other optometrists. She practices full-scope optometry and is excited to offer an ocular surface disease clinic here at Spectrum Eyecare & Eyewear. Dr. Lane currently sits on the council of the New Brunswick Association of Optometrists.
When she’s not pursuing optometric interests, Dr. Lane can be found with her husband, Dr. Jeff Palk, and their young children, Chloe and Liam, in various activities.
